Your Guide

John Grieve is your guide.

He was born and brought up in Orkney and has traced his family tree back for several generations in the islands.

John knows the islands, and the Orcadian culture, well and has over 20 years' experience working with visitors to the county.

His previous work for the RSPB, as an information officer for the Orkney Tourist Board, and as skipper of a passenger boat, have contributed to his knowledge of Orcadian wildlife, in particular where to find it throughout Orkney.
